We grow up with this series so why our children don’t like them too. I still like and I watch some animation movies if I like the script. Note, that many of the old animated series that I include in my list are available on YouTube! One of the things that I like about YouTube is that you can find almost everything. So, just connect your laptop to your LCD TV with a HDMI cable and let them watch for hours! Some newer animation adventure movies that is on the list, are available in internet streaming sites or you can just buy the DVDs. I like to start first with DuckTales and not with the adventures of tintin or Bolek and Lolek even if they are older, (The first Adventures of Tintin, produced by Belvision. The series aired from 1958 to 1962, with 104 five-minute episodes produced) (Bolek and Lolek first appeared in an animated film in 1963), because DuckTales are more known and better animated Series.

Bolek and Lolek (1963-1986)
Bolek and Lolek are two young explorers who travel the world in their imaginations. They first appeared in an animated film in 1963. Most episodes do not have dialogues. Exceptions are feature-length films and the series from the 1980s. Of all the Polish animated cartoons Bolek and Lolek ranks as number one all-time favorite. The series was popular in many countries.
The Wonderful Adventures of Nils Holgersson
This is an animated adaptation of the classic story of Nils Holgerson, a naughty boy who is transformed to a very little dwarf and goes through many adventures, flying with a band of wild geese. Unfortunately there is not an English version on youtube
The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries
Sylvester Cat, Tweety Bird, and Hector the Bulldog are the pets of Granny, a gingerly matron with a penchant for solving mysteries. Granny is a Jessica Fletcher-like traveling detective who investigates disappearing objects and bizarre events at the four corners of the globe, while Sylvester constantly tries to grab and eat Tweety and is stopped by ever dutiful Hector, appointed Tweety’s guardian by Granny.
Tomb Raider Animated Series
Is a ten-part animated series based on the Tomb Raider series. It was distributed through the online video game service GameTap from July 10, 2007 to November 13, 2007. The series consists of various animation and comic book talent’s renditions of Lara Croft, presented in the form of animated short films. The series was originally intended to conclude on August 23, 2007, but date for the final episode was changed to November 13, 2007.

Gulliver’s Travels is a 1939 American cel-animated Technicolor feature film, directed by Dave Fleischer and produced by Max Fleischer for Fleischer Studios. Gulliver washes ashore on Lilliput and attempts to prevent war between that tiny kingdom and its equally-miniscule rival, Blefiscu, as well as smooth the way for the romance between the Princess and Prince of the opposing lands. In this he is alternately aided and hampered by the Lilliputian town crier and general fussbudget, Gabby. A life-threatening situation develops when the bumbling trio of Blefiscu spies, Sneak, Snoop, and Snitch, manage to steal Gulliver’s pistol.
Live-action segments show members of the Disney staff touring South America and recording their impressions in sketches. These segue into four animated sections: “Lake Titicaca” depicts tourist Donald Duck’s troubles with a stubborn llama; “Pedro” tells of a little mail plane’s adventures flying over the treacherous Andes; “El Gaucho Goofy” transplants an American cowboy into the Argentine pampas; and in “Aquarela do Brasil,” Jose Carioca shows Donald the sights and sounds of Rio de Janiero.

The second gift is a pop-up book about Brazil. Inside is Zé Carioca, who takes Donald to Brazil’s Bahia for a mix of animation and live action: the two cartoon birds sing and dance with natives. The third gift is a piñata, accompanied by Panchito. A ride on a magic serape takes the three amigos singing and dancing across Mexico.

The Road to El Dorado is a 2000 animated comedy film by DreamWorks Pictures. Two swindlers get their hands on a map to the fabled city of gold, El Dorado. The movie starts in Spain in 1519, two con artists, Tulio (voiced by Kevin Kline) and Miguel (Kenneth Branagh) win a map to the legendary City of Gold, El Dorado, in a rigged gambling match.

Tad The Lost Explorer
One of the best animation adventure movies that I ever seen. Indiana Jones meets low-budget Pixar in entertaining toon “Tad, the Lost Explorer.” Tad, is a construction worker who dreams of being an archaeologist, is mistaken for a famous scientist and sent on a mission to save a lost city.
